The bitter third way

Confucius says, we can learn wisdom by three methods: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.

Incidentally, when I was a kid the most popular philosophical joke was ‘Confucius says: man who goes to bed with itchy bum… wakes up with smelly finger.’

  3. soo tired of this.. i’m learning by all three methods,i first think sumtin that i do is wrong, then after that i strive against it.. i realy do keep myself from wateva that is.. then after a while.. from i dont know where i come to do the thing again for the last time.. kinda like ,i call it purification..then it hits me hard!.. soo tired and i’am not the youngest.its Sucks Big time.
